Share Your Hapa Story 006: Tommy Jun Hodges @aprilmayjunjulyaugust

My name is Tommy Jun Hodges. I am mixed Japanese/Irish.  Born in Yokosuka Japan, on an American Naval base. I lived there till the 3rd grade. My pops told me when we move to California it'll be palm trees, beaches and surfboards. Well, we ended up moving to central California. I was raised surrounded by farm lands, asparagus, and fog. I got older and pursued my love of art, and ended up in Los Angeles. Had a beautiful son named Howl Ryusei.

He is half Mexican & half Japanese White. He eats burritos, sushi, and pancakes. Howl is the result of living in this beautiful melting pot that I happily call home. California USA!
